Shawnette Meers
Shawnette Meers is an optician here at Blumenstock Eyecare and has been with us since December 2020. In her free time, Shawnette likes to read while snuggling up with her two English Bulldogs, or spending a night with friends playing board or card games. She also likes listening to live music. She has an 18-year-old daughter, who she says has exceeded all her expectations, is a CNA, and going to Bryan for nursing school. When asked what her favorite part of working at Blumenstock is, she couldn’t decide! The lighthearted atmosphere with co-workers and patients makes the whole job fun.
Kali Zeffel
Kali Zeffel has recently joined the Blumenstock team as an Optometric Technician. Her favorite part of the job is helping patients who are first-time contact-wearers learn the proper ways to insert and remove contacts. Kali, who is a Colorado/Nebraska native, enjoys spending her time outside of work with friends. Some activities she enjoys are bowling, going to the gym, and hanging out by the lake on summer days!
Sarah Schlueter
Sarah Schlueter started with us at Blumenstock in the fall of 2021 as an optician. Sarah has been with her husband Tim for seventeen years, and together they have two children and a bloodhound named Millie. In her free time, Sarah likes to cook and play poker! Her favorite part of being an optician at Blumenstock is that she gets to help patients pick out their perfect pair of frames!
Angie Hobbs
Angie Hobbs is another one of our Optometric Technicians. She has been working in the eye care field since 2012. She has been at Blumenstock for two years now. She enjoys her job because she gets to help people have a better quality of life through correcting their vision. Angie grew up in Nebraska and Colorado. When she is not working hard at Blumenstock Eyecare, she can be found reading, with her cat Mia, pampering herself, or spending time with her family, including fiance Robb and children Amber and Sean.
