Shawnette Meers
Shawnette is the lab manager and billing specialist for Blumenstock Eyecare, and has been in the field of optometry for the last 27 years. She has been with BEC since December 2020. Her daughter is married and is finishing nursing school, and Shawnette can’t wait to have a grandbaby. Shawnette is engaged to her partner of 4 years and they love spending time with their two English Bulldogs, watching movies, and smelling good with their huge collection of colognes and perfumes. Her hobbies are crystals and Reiki.
Sarah Schlueter
Sarah started with us at Blumenstock in the fall of 2021 as an optician. Sarah has been with her husband Tim for seventeen years, and together they have two children and a bloodhound named Millie. In her free time, Sarah likes to cook and play poker! Her favorite part of being an optician at Blumenstock is that she gets to help patients pick out their perfect pair of frames!
Geneva Willcoxon
Geneva started her career on Maxwell AFB in Alabama in 1995 and became a Board Certified Optician in 1998. She has loved her career as the changes in the profession have made her the person she is today. Geneva was married for 25 years until her husband passed away. She has 2 kids and 7 grandkids that keep her busy after work. Her hobbies are gardening, reading, watching movies, and gaming online.
Kelsey Schmidt
Sarah Kallhoff
Sarah is an optometric technician that is pursuing her education to become an optometrist. In her spare time she enjoys reading, traveling and hanging out with friends. Sarah has a two year old Aussiedoodle named Rory who she spends time outside with when the weather is nice. Sarah’s favorite part about being a tech is interacting with patients and learning on the job.
Terri Cochran
Terri has over 14 years of experience as an optometric technician. Terri has a passion for helping people and enjoys getting to know the patients. She is a proud mother of her two grown boys Zachariah, Jacobi and her dog Diesel. Terri’s favorite pastime is hanging out with her children and two beautiful granddaughters Zayla and Alorah. She also enjoys being outdoors, riding her motorcycle, fast cars and an occasional trip to the casino.
