InMode Envision is a non-surgical, in-office, treatment platform designed to improve dry eye caused by Meibomian Gland Dysfunction (MGD), Ocular Rosacea, and other underlying ocular issues. The Envision platform utilizes radiofrequency (Forma-I) and intense pulse light (Lumecca-I) to treat the root cause of dry eye. These technologies gently heat the eyelids to unblock the oil glands, reduce inflammation, improve tear quality, and stimulate collagen production, offering long-term relief without any downtime.

Forma-I Radiofrequency treatment (RF)

Performed in multiple, twenty minute, treatment sessions over the span of a month, radio frequency (Forma-I) treatments utilize energy to generate heat which is applied to the skin around the eyes. This heat stimulates collagen formation, bringing white blood cells, and stem cells to the skin around your eyes while reducing inflammation. This treatment aids in opening up clogged meibomian glands, allowing for improved tear production and secretion.

Lumecca-I Intense Pulse Light treatment (IPL)

Intense Pulse Light treatments (IPL) works to control the inflammatory process to stop the chronic cycle of inflammation that irritates so many people’s eyes. IPL utilizes powerful bursts of light to eliminate blood vessels that release inflammation to the eyes and eyelids. IPL is effective at improving ocular rosacea, Meibomian Gland Dysfunction, and inflammatory dry eye. It has also shown effectiveness in decreasing demodex (mites) and forms of bacteria around the eyelids that contribute to dry eye symptoms.

How Many Sessions Are Required for RF or IPL?

Each patient is different. Your doctor will recommend the ideal number of sessions for either RF, IPL, or both, to be performed based on your unique situation. Treatment times and frequency will be specifically tailored to obtain the optimal results.

What Kind of Post-Procedure Care is Required?

Most patients do not experience any side effects and any skin reaction typically resolves within a few hours. There is no recovery period or downtime associated with these procedures.
